Creative Movement (ages 3 & 4 )* 45 min class

Mommy and Me (ages 1 & 2) 45 min class

Based on the spirit of fun, this age-appropriate creatively choreographed program explores all the basics of dance. With activity resources and special music, teachers engage the students’ attention and imagination. Little ones participating in Creative Movement will have the opportunity to perform one dance at our annual recital: a highlight for both the children and parents!

Kinder-Combo ( ages 5 & 6 )* 1 hr class

Advanced Kinder-Combo ( ages 7 - 9 )* 1 hr class

In this successful age-appropriate program, children are introduced to all the fundamentals of 3 basic forms of dance: Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Throughout this program, students will learn the correct disciplines of body positioning, and alignment in Ballet, develop an outstanding sense of rhythm and musicality through Tap, and be introduced to the exhilarating world of Jazz. Students in Kinder-Combo will perform two dance routines in our annual recital.

Advanced Kinder-Combo Classes Offered: Mondays 6:00 pm, Thursdays 5:00 pm

Main Dance Division

Classes in our Main Dance Division are open to all and are designed for students looking for a recreational dance program. Throughout all levels of instruction, The Academy of Dance offers a curriculum, which includes Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop. Lyric and Modern are also offered to our Junior and Senior Level students. In a positive and encouraging atmosphere, students are taught proper dance vocabulary and technique. At our annual recital, dancers will perform a routine in each subject studied.

Hip Hop Mondays 4:00 - 5:00 & 5:00 – 6:00

Lyric (7-12) Mondays 7:00 – 8:00

Tap Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:00
Jazz Tuesdays 5:00 – 6:00

Junior Classes (ages 10 - 12) Offered:

Hip Hop Mondays 6:00 – 7:00

Lyric (7-12) Mondays 7:00 – 8:00

Jazz (10-12) Tuesdays 6:00 – 7:00
